Welcome to the Poway Adult School 2024 Fall Quarter!
Of course, we are always very proud of the variety of courses in our catalog, but
this term may be one of the best and most diverse selection of classes we’ve ever
assembled. Each one of our courses is carefully designed to support the requests and
needs of our community to meet personal or professional goals.
You’ll see that a major point of expansion is in our adult Career Technical Education
courses. Many of our survey responses indicate that our students are seeking career
transitions or to enhance current job skills. With that in mind, we’ve implemented
programs to support new career paths including Court Reporter, Certified Nursing
Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Medical Billing and Coding. You can also elevate
your current job skills and promotability by adding certificates and certifications in a
variety of fields, including Home Caregiving, Real Estate License, QuickBooks, MS
Office Pro, Google Suites, and Accounting.
