Detailed Fall 2024 Schedule Here

Attendance, Participation, and Completion Requirements
Full attendance is the expectation for the course. The first 20 hours of the program are critical to your ability to attend clinical days. Students who miss any hours during these dates may not be able to attend clinic as scheduled. One make-up theory and one make-up clinical are offered as a courtesy near the end of the course to help students who have missed class due to illness or emergencies. Students who are absent more than the make-up hours allow will be marked "Incomplete" for the course. They may be offered the option to return next semester to complete hours and missed modules. However, they may be required to pay the registration fee again. Students must make-up all missed modules/hours. Please note the class schedule when registering and ensure your prompt and regular attendance to the correct location for the class session.
To complete the program and qualify to take the State certification exam, students must complete 60 theory hours, 100 clinical hours, and pass all modules at 75% or better (as measured on Module Exams and skills assessments).

Zoom and Technical Requirements
The theory portion of this program is offered on Zoom with the teacher and students present in real time. Students must have a computer with good access to the Internet and audio and video capabilities. Using smart phones is not allowed for course participation. Contact us if you can't meet the technical requirements.
Students must be visible on the computer screen at all times and not otherwise doing anything else while in their Zoom class. This includes not being on the job or caring for children /  others. Teachers will mark students as "not in attendance" for any time students are not visible or able to answer when called upon.
