High School Options

Adults ages 18 and older have three choices for completing a high school education. 

•  High School Equivalency Test Preparation Go there now
  • In this choice you can prepare for one of two tests: HiSet or GED
• Earn a Poway Adult School High School Diploma Go there now
• Earn a National External Diploma (NEDP) Go there now

Study in a Variety of Ways

Independent Study

This program works for the motivated adult who requires flexibility. Adult independent study students meet one-on-one with instructors once a week for assistance and testing. Students are invited to attend additional support classes offered in the Learning Center. 

On-campus Learning

This option is ideal for students who need access to a full range of resources to complete their goals. Students attend the Learning Center to receive individual assistance from a credentialed teacher; participate with peers in classes; utilize computer, video and audio-enhanced learning; access resources; and take assessments.

Online Learning 

Online learning is available to enhance and accelerate your learning! The NEDP option is an online platform.
